Easing the burden of pain while honoring every baby gone too soon

Mission Statement

Aubrey’s Advocate, Inc. honors babies gone too soon by easing the financial, emotional, and social burdens of stillbirth while advocating for compassionate, equitable care for grieving families.

Who We Are

Aubrey’s Advocate, Inc. exists to honor the lives of babies gone too soon by supporting the families who carry their memory. Rooted in personal loss, our mission is to ease the unexpected financial burdens that follow stillbirth and to advocate for compassionate, equitable care for grieving parents.

We strive to ensure that no family faces this heartbreak alone and that every silent baby is remembered with love and dignity through meaningful financial, social, and emotional support, while working to reduce the stigma surrounding this profound loss.

What We Do

Aubrey’s Advocate, Inc. is dedicated to destigmatizing perinatal loss and supporting families after stillbirth through three core programs:

Financial Assistance for Labor and Delivery Bills

We provide direct grants to families who experience a third‑trimester stillbirth, helping cover out‑of‑pocket hospital and insurance costs related to labor and delivery. Our goal is to ease the unexpected financial burden that compounds an already devastating loss. Apply for financial assistance here.

Provider Education and Hospital Support

We offer both in‑person and virtual training for healthcare providers, along with process‑improvement guidance for hospitals at no cost. Our workshops focus on best practices for caring for families from the moment they receive the news through postpartum aftercare. We emphasize provider empathy, communication, and how to support families through complex decisions during an emotionally overwhelming time. Contact us here to discuss how we can partner. link e-mail or an interest form)

Community and Peer Support

Through our Light After Loss network co-created with Noelle’s Light, we connect bereaved mothers with trained mentors who have lived the experience as well as group support opportunities. This community provides understanding, connection, and shared healing for those navigating life after loss. Contact us here to learn more: https://www.noelleslight.org/emotional-support/.
